She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Helwig and Jean Helwig; and her mother-in-law Dorothy McPherson. She is survived by: her husband Bob McPherson; her sons, Mark McPherson (Ann Boyner) of Eden Prairie and Greg McPherson (Lois) of Bloomington; her grandchildren, Sonja McPherson (Rogelio Perez), Scott McPherson and Geoffrey McPherson (Gabi); and her great grandchild Kathleen.

Memorials preferred to the Animal Humane Society or a similar organization.
