She was predeceased by: her husband John; and her grandson Wyatt Borden. She is survived by: her daughters, Michele Halvorson (Andrew), Jo Gilbertson (Scott) and Laura; her grandchildren, Eric, Alan, Marcus, Ty Gilbertson Siri, Annika and Kjersti Halvorson; and her siblings, Kathryn Runman Zimney (Len) and Robert Abraham (Prinny).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to CHI Health at Home Hospice.
