He is survived by: his husband Brad Schnitzler of Maple Grove; his pet Loki; his children, Amy (Dan Dupay) of St. Michael, MN, Aaron Schnitzler (Rebecca) of Albertville, MN and Alan Schnitzler (Nikki) of Delano, MN; his grandchildren, Isaac, Julia, Mya Dupay of St. Michael, MN, Eliot, Ella Schnitzler of Albertville, MN, Miles and Lydia Schnitzler of Delano; and his siblings, Linda Mathews (David) of Bardstown, KY, Deborah Thiry (Jeff) of Green Bay, WI, Gary Andress (Patti) of Menomonie, WI and Brenda McClelland (Steve Stillman) of Menomonie, WI.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glen Haven Chapel (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
