He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Heidi; his children, Jennifer Emerson (Paul), Betsy Hoyt, Abby Hoyt and Ben Hoyt; his stepdaughters, Celeste Cleppe and Chloe Cleppe; his grandsons, Aidan Emerson and Will Emerson; his brother Steve Hoyt (Paula); his parents, Bruce Hoyt and Gayle Hoyt; and his siblings, Lawrence Hoyt and Denise Johnson. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
