He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Rasmussen and Clara Rasmussen (Howe); his brother Richard E. Rasmussen; his sister-in-law Donna L. Rasmussen (Martha J. Rasmussen); his son-in-law Björn G. Dahlén; and his grandson Keith L. Resch.
He is survived by: his children, Dana (Chris Hickman), Derek and Kristin Resch; his grandchildren, Theo Dahlén (April), Angela Resch and Darcy Resch; and his great grandchildren, Felix, Noah, Arlo, Eliza and Asher. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Central Lutheran Church (333 S 12th St, Minneapolis, MN 55404).
