With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Burton Cohen (Minneapolis, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Burton departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Burton may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Burton leaves behind.
He is survived by: his extended family Kay Carda; Michael, Jeffery and Susan. He is also survived by grandsons, and two brilliant great-grandchildren.
If one should be so inclined, memorial contributions would be so appreciated to Temple Israel, where Burt set a record for non-attendance at Sabbath services; but where, nevertheless, his heart resides.
