He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gray and Zelda Gray (Normington); and his wife Patricia "Pat" Klawitter. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin (Cheryl) and Kasey (Theresa); his grandchildren, Colin Gray (Lauren), Cameron Gray (Erin), Brittney Schaake (Billy), Killian Gray, Slate Gray, Mac Gray, Gabi Gray and Pam Savira; his sister Bonnie Gray; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Klawitter (Nancy) and Richard Klawitter (Rita). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gunderson East Funeral & Cremation Care (5203 Monona Dr, Monona, WI 53716). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 11:35 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
