It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Gene Cook (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Daniel has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cook and Gladys Cook; and his daughters, Angela and Danielle Jo. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Sjobeck (Teigland); his son Ryan (Rocky); his granddaughter Courtney Clyde; and his brother Michael (Connie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Presbyterian Church (789 Northdale Blvd NW, Minneapolis, MN 55448). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Disable American Veterans of Minnesota or donor's choice.
