He was predeceased by: his parents, Farrell Matthews and Anna Matthews. He is survived by: his brother Darwin Spencer; and his children, Jamar Young (Jazz) of Minneapolis, Dennis Bass of Minneapolis, Denise Bass, Matthews-Tendle of Oklahoma City, OK and Shamonda Greer of Minneapolis, MN.. He is also survived by Grand-children; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM. A repast will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 3800 Russell Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55412.
