In the vast expanse of eternity, Delano Vernon shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Delano Vernon farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He is survived by: his wife Diana; his children, Rhonda (Paul) and Nate (Betsy); and his grandchildren, Hollyann (James), Jocelyn (Justin), Mira and Vivian. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Bethlehem United Church of Christ or Little Hospice.
