With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delores E. Westphal (Minneapolis, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Leavitt and Julia Leavitt (Schroeder); her husband Kenneth Westphal; her son-in-law Vince Herding; her great grandchild Evan Schumacher; her sister Mary Lou; her brothers-in-law, Gregor Herding and Lowell Sedler; and her parents-in-law, William and Adelia Westphal.

She is survived by: her sister Dee; her children, Perry (Debbie), Byron (Diane), Denise Herding, Brenda, Julie Heying (Steve) and Glen (Margarita); her great grandchildren, Rebecca Truesdell (Rich) and Shea; her grandchildren, Melissa Schumacher (Stuart), Andrew, Caleb, Leah Insko (Mike), Kylin, Ryder, Kyle Westphal (Rachel), Wyatt, Melynda McMahon (Robert), Connor, Liam, Abygayl Paustis (Bryce), Brynne and Nelly; and her sister Eleanor Sedler.
