With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dena C. Karigan (Minneapolis, Minnesota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dena left this world on April 15, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nickolas Sperides and Arta Sperides; her brother Spiro; her husband James; and her son Andrew.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Nelson (Jerry) and Nadine Barber (Gary); her grandchildren, Andrew, Nicolette Bodine, James and Nicholas Nelson (Erin); and her caregiver Violet Anunciacion.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel (5000 W 50th St, Edina, MN 55436). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church (3450 Irving Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55408).
