With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diane Lynn McCunn in Minneapolis, Minnesota, born in Muscatine, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 13, 2025 at the age of 89. As Diane departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Diane may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Diane leaves behind.
She is survived by: her husband David; her children, Alison Fairbanks (Larry Domek), Jim McCunn (Ilhan Sadri), Kate Simpson (Glenn) and Julia McCunn (Maria Zachmann); her grandchildren, Zoe Clarke (Peter), Benjamin Illies and Enrique Cordova; and her stepgrandson Parker Simpson.
