He is survived by: his children, John, Michael (Susan), Paula Dupay (Bill), Diane Brown (Tim) and Dan (Jodie); his grandchildren, Amanda Verkman (Ryan), Rachel Westphal (Kyle), Katie Markgraf (Jeremiah), Michael Ryan, Andrew Brown (Lindsey), Samuel, Benjamin (Christina), Dana Doyle (Jerrod), Sara, Anna and Will; and his great grandchildren, Hadley, Blakely Brown, Wyatt Westphal, Bo, Mia, Raya Verkman and Margot Albrecht. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
