We bid farewell to Donald Joseph Makowske (Minneapolis, Minnesota), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 24, 2025 at the age of 93. Donald touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Walter, Edward, Chester, LeRoy and Gladys Mako.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Christopher (Heather), Daniel, Margaret and Kate Purchase (Bryce); his grandchildren, Isabella Zarras (Nick), Charles and Joseph Makowske; and his brother Roger.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Charles Borromeo (2739 Stinson Blvd NE, St Anthony, MN 55418). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred for church vocations to Serra International; ProLife Across America and St. Charles Borromeo School Endowment.
