We bid farewell to Douglas Benson (Minneapolis, Minnesota), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 25, 2025 at the age of 76. Douglas touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Benson and Annette Benson; and his siblings, Richard and Rhonda (Deb Worthington). He is survived by: his daughters, Kristi Freeman (Todd) and Gina Benson-Mitchell (Adrian); his grandchildren, Kendall Freeman, Araya, Zion, Kalani and Rayn Mitchell; his sister Lorrie Torbenson (Kevin); and his siblings-in-law, Melinda Nevins and Ken Williams.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Glen Haven Chapel (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Washburn-McReavy (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429).
