With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Douglas Warren Ernie (Minneapolis, Minnesota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Ernie and Ruby Ernie; and his granddaughter Addy Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Ernie; his daughters, Jenny (Ryan Ernie-Steighner) and Debbie (Matt Campbell); and his grandchildren, Noelle and Silas Campbell. He is also survived by many extended family and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. John's United Methodist Church (100 Center St, Wimbledon, ND 58492). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the University Hall (200 SE Oak St, Minneapolis, MN 55455). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Prairie View Cemetery (9850 13th St SE, Wimbledon, ND 58492). A reception will be held on Saturday, June 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. John's United Methodist Church (100 Center St, Wimbledon, ND 58492).
