He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Harter and Virginia Harter (Laessig); his sister Aggie; his brother-in-law Jim Morman; his brother Al Harter; and his siblings-in-law, Jackie and Mike Flor.
He is survived by: his close friend Margo; his family, Kristina (Ed Terhaar), Becky (Sean Faulk) and Tony Harter (Shauna Keophilalay); his grandchildren, Abgail Faulk, Julia Terhaar, Nathan Terhaar, Madeline Faulk and Taylor Harter; his brother Phil Harter (Charlene); and his sister-in-law Sharyn Harter. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
