It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Quaye (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Elizabeth has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Josiah Junius and Emmerline Junius. She is survived by: her siblings, Helene Summerville, Rebecca Emmerline Junius King and Parmetta Johns of Counselor, J. D; her husband Alfred Quaye; her children, Kommonyan (Trocon), Alfrederick (Al) and Rebecca; her grandchildren, Jordanna and Avery; and her sister Catherine Junius-Weah. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, church families, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mount Zion Interdenominational Church (6830 Quail Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55429). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Interdenominational Ministries (6830 Quail Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55429).
