He is survived by: his wife Clara; his children, Joseph Gendler (Inna Gendler) and Regina Gendler (Sergei Nemech); and his grandchildren, Rebeca Gendler, Jacklyn Gendler, Michelle Nemech and David Gendler.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hodroff-Epstein Memorial Chapel (126 E Franklin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55404). A wake was held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at the Absheron Restaurant (10730 Hwy 55, Plymouth, MN 55441).
