We announce the death of Frances R. Goliwas (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on October 23, 2026, at the age of 85. Frances will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert; her parents, Edward Voorhies and Rowena Voorhies; and her sister Eugenie Schoenfeld. She is survived by: her children, Ashley Hughes (Tim), Juliette Goliwas and Patrick Goliwas (Molly); her grandchildren, Felix, Bobby, JohnPaul, Frankie, Elizabeth, Thomas and Oliver; and her siblings, Rita Olivier and Daniel Voorhies.
A Mass was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (5900 W Lake St, Minneapolis, MN 55416). A reception was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials preferred to Holy Family Academy.
