It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Edward Lausen (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on January 25, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Gertrude; and his brother-in-law Robert Gronau (Bob). He is survived by: his siblings, Jim (Evie), Jack, Marge, Butch, Russ (Bonnie) and Tom; his daughters, Patti Friske (Mark) and Beth Lausen; his grandchildren, Isabel and Ian Friske; and his great-nephew Nick Moore.
He volunteered many years at Methodist Hospital and at the 3900 clinic after COVID.
