It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Stanislawski (Minneapolis, Minnesota), born in Roseau, Minnesota, who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Douglas; his parents, Alex and Frances; his parents-in-law, Petra and Roy Larson; his sister Georgine McMartin (John); his siblings-in-law, Myrna Gajeski (Daniel), Leland Larson and Floyd Blawat; and his friends, Cleo Rud, Jerome and Barb Mrozek.

He is survived by: his wife Renee; his children, Michelle Roering (Darrell), Jodi, Lara Peterson (Darrell), Troy and Kristi; his grandchildren, Chelsea (Bryan), Matthew (Francine), Lexie (Jake), Alex (Kala), Nik, Asher, Taysia, Ellie, Austin, Leah, Colton, Ayden, William, Elliott and Amelia; his great grandchild Stella; his siblings, Alice Blawat, Louise Brekke (Dennis), John (Connie) and Kathy Timm (Tim); Wayne Larson (Janice), Delray Larson (Janice), Linda Larson and Lynette Lunemann (Cal). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of memorials, donations preferred to the Saint Aloysius Cemetery in Leo, Minnesota or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
