He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, Mary Dougherty (Ted), Bridget Oporta (Alvaro), Tom Carlin (Jen), Elizabeth Carlson (Paul), Katie Hollerman (Dan), Annie Nowak (Mike) and Michael Carlin; his grandchildren, Jack, Will, Sadie, Charlie and Meghan Dougherty; his children, Isabel, Nicolas Oporta, Eleanor, Caitlin, Anneliese Carlin, Grace, Emma, Charlotte Carlson, Mollie, Jimmy Hollerman, Lucy, Lily and Hania Nowak; his great grandchildren, Adeline and Margo Dougherty; and his siblings, Cindy Daoud, Deb Skinner, Marion Patton, Edward Carlin and Martha Carlin.
