He was predeceased by: his wife V. Marcy; and his children, James and Sharon Burke. He is survived by: his children, Rose Drake (Greg), Andy (Freddie), Verne (Mary) and Sonya. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Minnesota Veterans Home Chapel (5101 Minnehaha Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55417). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
