He is survived by: his children, Alan Sartwell (Jennifer), Steven Sartwell (Laurie), Julie Rapp (Bradley), Timothy Sartwell (Michele), Bradley Sartwell (Stephanie) and Jacqueline Bergren (Jim); and his brother George Sartwell (Sue).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church (171 Elm St, Lino Lakes, MN 55014). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
