He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "Rusty" Turney and Gloria "Midge" Waupoose Turney Herrera; his stepfather Richard Herrera; his wife Diana Marie Tucker Turney; and his grandparents, Alex Sr. and Sarah Josephine Waupoose.
He is survived by: his brothers, David Turney Sr. and Raymond Herrera Sr.; his children, Alexandra Greyhair, Mike Tucker (Judy), AlQoyawayma Baddmoccosin-Barnes (Amanda), Manih Turney, Macanmeta Turney, Sosah Turney, Kawtnih Munoz (Genaro) and Piataewsikah Turney; his godson Dave Turney Jr.; and his grandsons, Daniel R. Greyhair Jr., Daunte Greyhair, Nekoneskawah Turney and Anthony Dominguez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and plants, the family prefers memorials in Harold's name.
