He is survived by: his wife Jeanette; his son Tim Eklund (Lois); his grandchildren, Ryan Eklund (Erika), Andrew Eklund (Emma) and Brittany Eklund; and his great grandchildren, Clara, Edith, Florence, George Eklund (Ryan), Lina (Andrew) and June.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Olive Lutheran Church (3045 Chicago Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55407). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
