He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Thompson and Antoinette Thompson (DeBernardi). He is survived by: his wife Sally Jo Burgess of Tower, Minnesota.; his children, JoEllen Maras (Chris) of Omaha, Nebraska, Brian (Amanda Cope) of East Granby, Connecticut and Erin Skubic (Jeff) of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; his granddaughter Olivia Maras (Trent Hoppe) of Tempe, Arizona; his children, Tony Maras of Brooklyn, Celia Skubic of Boston, Massachusetts, Cal Thompson, Quinn Thompson of East Granby, Connecticut and Jack Skubic of Eden Prairie, Minnesota.; and his sisters, Diana Kirschner (Robert) and Olivia Thompson. He is also survived by two nieces, many cousins and numerous life-long friends.
