We are sad to announce that, on March 1, 2024, at the age of 86, James Allen Anderson (Minneapolis, Minnesota), born in River Falls, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Anderson and Liz Anderson (MacArthur); and his sister Carol Skrade. He is survived by: his wife Serpil; and his siblings, Ralph Anderson (Ann) and Mary Carr (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He served as an attorney for the Burlington Northern Railroad, where he made a significant contribution to the establishment of Amtrak.
