He was predeceased by: his brothers, William and Timothy. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Deanna Schudy (Buzz) and Bradley (Katie); and his grandchildren, Andrew, Brendan, Carly, Hannah, Marilyn, Keith and Ruthie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer's Association - MN/ND Chapter.
