She was predeceased by: her son Enrique; her father James Sr.; and her brothers, James Jr., Kevin and Kenny.
She is survived by: her sons, Shawmen and Giovani; her mother Joanne; and her siblings, Barbara and Peter.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Minnesota Indian Women's Resource Center (2300 15th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55404). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
