Joan Peterson Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on November 18, 2025, at the age of 90, Joan Peterson (Minneapolis, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Sandvig and Rosine Sandvig (Engen); her husband Howard Alexander Peterson, Jr.; her son Jon Peterson; and her brother Gerald "Jerry" Sandvig (Margie).
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Lampi (Mark) and Amy Peck (Bill); her grandchildren, Olin Lampi, Hansen, Hudson, Hayden and Henry Peck; and her siblings, Eugene "Gene" Sandvig (Carolyn), Connie Brunkow (late Orville) and Lorraine Carlson (Fred). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
