He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce (Donahue); his granddaughter Mairead Dobie; his parents, George Meister and Lola Meister; and his siblings, Irene Barthel (Bernard), George Meister (Patricia), Mary Leuer (Leon), Jeanne Laurent (Raymond), Francis and Charles Meister (Phyllis).
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Mujica (Carlos), Jill Dobie (Brian) and Jennifer Bourn (David); his granddaughters, Maura, Eileen, Margaret, Kathleen, Mary-Grace, Josephine, Maeve Dobie, Leah, Claire and Vivienne Bourn; and his sisters, Betty Eull (late Loran) and Joann Hackenmueller (late Joseph).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle (20000 County Rd 10, Corcoran, MN 55340). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Old St. Thomas Cemetery (21420 93rd Ave N, Corcoran, MN 55340).
