With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Kenneth Sauer (Minneapolis, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 23, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Sauer and Bernice Sauer (Thielman); his siblings, Allen, Gloria Rutzen and Mary Sauer; his brothers-in-law, Arnie Maile, John Scott and Larry Ehmke; and his nieces, Kim Jensen and Tracy Sowada.
He is survived by: his wife Georgiana; his children, Erica Sauer (Steve Curnow) and Peter Sauer (Rebecca); his stepdaughters, Lisa Engelstad (Rich), Katie Wasrud (Jon) and Emily Waskow (Dan); his grandchildren, Nolan, Amelia Johnson, Naomi, Otto Sauer, Ben, Jacob Engelstad, Hadley Wasrud, Haley and Brayden Waskow; his siblings, Richard Sauer (Anita), Diane Scott, Sandy Correia (Mark), Lois Maile, Curt Sauer (Susan) and Mark Sauer (Cathy); and his friend Rita Speltz.
