He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Chell and Reverend Anton Chell; his wife Rose Marie; and his brother Paul Chell (Sheri). He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Talus (Doug) and Paula Scott (Erik); his grandchildren, Bryan (Leah), Eric (Allie), Emily and Marit; his great grandchildren, Brielle, Tenley, Elsie and Sylvie; and his sister Ruth Oliphant (Robert). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Barnabas Lutheran Church (15600 Old Rockford Rd, Minneapolis, MN 55446). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
