With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Wilkes (Minneapolis, Minnesota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Wilkes and Florence Wilkes; his brother Jerry Wilkes; his parents-in-law, Everett Halsey and Rosemary Halsey; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Halsey, Tom Halsey, John Halsey, Bernie Peterson, Dick Auger and Tom Martinson.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Halsey; his children, Mark (Karen Mortensen), Julie Roberts (Jim), Sandra Day (Jack), Peter (Pamela), Patrick (Kristin) and Jason (Barbara); his grandchildren, Stephanie, Erin (Jeffrey), Chloe, Camille (David), Kyle (Julia), Elyse, Tristan, Carter, Devan, Ashley, Shane, Alexa (Andrew), Dasante and Damien; his great grandchildren, Charlie, Zoey, Ellie, Henry and Remy; his sisters, Judy Miller (Frank) and Mary Jo Martinson (Phil Huch); and his sisters-in-law, Marianne Peterson, Sharon Auger and Linda Wilkes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
