He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Valerie Rand of Woodbury, Linda Kandels of Northfield and Sandy Bainey (Brent) of Babbitt, Minnesota.; his grandchildren, Christopher Rand (Bernice), Andrew Kandels (September), Daniel Bainey and Thomas Bainey; his great grandchildren, Clementine, Avery and Augustus Kandels; his nieces, LeAnn Ditlefsen, Nancy Resler (Bob) and Shari Ditlefsen; and his nephew Greg Ditlefsen.
