He was predeceased by: his wife Borg (Borg) of Montevideo, MN; his parents, John Geolat and Hedwig Geolat; and his brothers, Francis Geolat (Frank) and Bernard Geolat (Barney).
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Brown (Daryl), Kimberly Lieb (William), Steven Geolat (Nancy) and Keith Geolat (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Matthew Brown (Susan), Jennifer Hintz (James), Cassie Libby, Adam Geolat (Courtney), Kyle Geolat (Rachel Johnston), Nick Geolat, Brandy Klindworth (Tony), Lexi Gnotke (Carter) and Amber Geolat; his great grandchildren, Aubrey Libby, Levi Libby, Silas Klindworth, Bridgette Klindworth and Brooks Geolat; and his brother Norman Geolat (Norm). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
