With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Carol Schirmers of Minneapolis, Minnesota, born in Little Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on July 29, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Schmitt and Elizabeth Schmitt; her husband Fred Schirmers; and her siblings, James Schmitt, Betty Walquist and Mary Ann Morrill.
She is survived by: her children, Carol, Greg (Shawn Wilde) and Tom Schirmers (Deb Buen-Peterson); her grandchildren, Blake, Beth, Bryan and Bailey Schirmers; and her daughter Brandy Juntunen (Tom). She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
