She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil William Nielsen and Genevieve Agnes Damm Nielsen; her grandson David McLaughlin; and her brother Kenneth Nielsen. She is survived by: her husband Ron; her daughter Jaime Adams; her son-in-law David McLaughlin of Des Moines, IA; her son Steven Adams of Minneapolis; her daughter-in-law Nancy Wright of Minneapolis; and her granddaughters, Naomi, Erin Adams of Des Moines and Akira Adams of Minneapolis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Planned Parenthood or Minnesota Public Television.
