He is survived by: his wife Bouavahn Vannavong; his grandchildren, Somdy "Noy" Phongsavath and Mark Richardson; his children, Khampeu Vannavong, Latana "Joy" Vannavong, Josie Vannavong, Anuuke Vannavong and Phonesavanh "Dot" Vannavong; and his pets, Mushu, Kana, Pukki, Ratanakone "Tang" Vannavong, Sengdara "Sun" Grue and Nicholas Grue. He is also survived by father to his children, their spouses.
