With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen L. Strunc (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on November 11, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Gaffaney and Florence Gaffaney (Van Amber); her son Michael; and her stepmother Frances Herzog. She is survived by: her grandsons, Connor (Danielle), Tyler (Joanna), Riley and Andrew Strunc; her great grandchildren, Macie, Lacie and Royce; her siblings, George, David, Greg, Lyn McMurry and Marybeth Jubert; Gary, Nathan (Kari) of San Antonio, FL, Chris (Teysha) of Bakersfield, CA, Melissa of New Brighton, MN and Nick of Renton, WA.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Joseph the Worker (7180 Hemlock Ln N, Maple Grove, MN 55369). A prayer was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Patrick's Cemetery (16453 Bass Lake Rd, Maple Grove, MN 55311).
