She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Nelson and Eric Nelson. She is survived by: her husband Dominic Violante; her siblings, Robert Nelson and Gail Schaefer (Russ); her sons, Ed (Betsey), Michael (Paul) and Todd (Kathy); her grandchildren, Nick (Mercedes), Sarah (Pat), Tony, Mike, Frances, Margaret (Dakota), Olivia and Dominic; and her great grandchildren, Lily, Vincent, James and Isla. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, or Animal Humane Society of Minnesota.
