She was predeceased by: her former husband Dale Nelson; and her parents, Eber Berquist and Gladys Berquist. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Nelson-San and Leslie Anderson (James); her grandsons, James Nelson, Graham Nelson and Anthony Gylling (Rachel); and her great grandchild Tristyn Spencer.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to a local PBS station or the Animal Humane Society.
