He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Thompson and Doris Thompson of Minneapolis, MN.; and his brothers, Richard and Robert Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, James Thompson, Diane Hickey and Kimberly Thompson; and his grandchildren, Katelyn Kramer, Emily Baumgardner, Andrea Cardinal and Nathan Cardinal. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (807 MN-97, Forest Lake, MN 55025). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
