It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lien Byron Petersen (Minneapolis, Minnesota), who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Lien Byron departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Lien Byron. Though Lien Byron may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Petersen; and his son Brent Allen Petersen. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl L. Kuhn (Kevin L.), Alane L. Pritchett, Dale R. Petersen and Eric G. Petersen (Paula J.). He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
