She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay P. Mortensen and Selma C. Mortensen (Lastine); her husband Dick; her son Todd Hollerud; and her siblings, James Mortensen, Shirley Nelson and Marie Mortensen.

She is survived by: her daughter Malia Haskins (Kurt Gonyea) of Plymouth, Minnesota; her grandson Sam Haskins of St. Paul, Minnesota; and her stepgrandchildren, Alec Gonyea (Libby Osterbauer) of Madison, Lauren Gonyea (Ian Carthey) of Cary and Scarlett of Cary. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
