She was predeceased by: her husband Sidney Applebaum; her parents, William Smith and Fannie Smith; her brothers, Harold, Marvin and Richard Smith; and her son-in-law Marc Rosenberg.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Rosenberg, Jay Applebaum and Ellen Saffron (Robert); her grandchildren, Betsy Schwartz (James), Anne Stanfield (Michael), William Rosenberg (Sheryl), Jonathan Applebaum (Kate), Jill Applebaum (Harry Jacobs), Thomas Applebaum, Molly Ambrose (James) and Katie Wolf (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Lucy, June Schwartz, Alexa, Jonah Rosenberg, Benjamin Stanfield, Julia, Margo Applebaum, Millie, Theo Jacobs and Jack Wolf; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Smith. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to Temple Israel.
