It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Francine Yanez of Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Torivio Yanez, Sr.; and her siblings, Celesta Yanez, Jeremy Yanez, Robert Taylor and Daniel Robertson.

She is survived by : her mother Noreen Smith; her daughter Laylah Ibrahim; her partner Kareem Ibrahim; and her siblings, Torivio Yanez, Jr., John Robertson, Rudy Yanez, Dennis Yanez and Katherine Yanez. She is also survived by numerous friends and other family members.
